In 1986, Mark Pfeltz set the Guinness Book Of World Records for sit-ups.
He did 45,005 sit-ups in 58.5 hours! (And trained many months to get there.)

If you’ve been getting my emails for a while, I hope you’ve understood crunches and sit-ups are far from the best exercises for your abs.
They’re too easy, they don’t let you stretch your abs, and they let you relax your abs between reps. Worthless…
