Coming Up: Abs Training Zones Webinar

I’ve been thinking about abs training a lot lately.

Since my goal is to help you get six pack abs quickly and easily, I needed a way to synthesize the science behind abs training into easy-to-use-and-understand methods.

So, I’ve come up with abs training zones that integrate strength (low-rep) and hypertrophy (mid-rep) type training for faster results.

I plan to call them the Six Pack “Sweet Spot” Training Zones.

I’ll organize a free webinar shortly covering:

  • Why training zones help you get six pack abs faster
  • Why having stronger abs will help you get a six pack fast
  • Why hypertrophy-type training helps you get chiseled abs
  • How strength and hypertrophy-type abs training interact to help you get six pack abs

Now, I’d need you to help with this webinar.

  1. What questions do you have about abs training that you would like me to answer during the webinar?
  2. What’s the best time for you to attend to that webinar?
  3. What do you think of the name Six Pack “Sweet Spot” Training Zones? Can you suggest another?

Answer by commenting below. I look forward to reading your comments.

P.S. If you don’t get my emails already, sign up below to be emailed when the webinar’s ready.

My questions for you to answer about AB training…How many days a week should I train, for how long at each exercise session, what should I do to warm up before starting. I think it should be offered at least 2 times a day…early afternoon/mid day between 11:00am-2:00pm and in the evening for the people that work.
Now, the “possible new name”…The six pack “wiggle-giggle” zone. :)

    1. What are the best ab exercises to do?
    2. 22:00 GMT
    3. Good name, but a bit confusing in my opinion (it sounds more like you mean ab zones instead of ab training zones). No, I can’t think of a more suitable name, though.

Paula: The six pack “wiggle-giggle” zone. I like that. Good one!

Mike: shin splints usually happen when you run. Try biking or swimming for cardio.

Thank you all for your comments.

tena koe Carl. I ‘ve found that using a range of different exercises to target different abdominal muscle groups works quite well. Looking forward to what you have to share.

    1. Should abs training be done to failure with no weights or in sets with weights?
    2. After 6PM -4GMT
    3. Don’t like how it sounds, make it like the “Razor cut abs” training zone

1-How to tweak your ab training when you’re too strong or too weak to do the exercise ( I know that you gice some tips but how about the rep range or different position to make it easier or harder or maybe if you can’t do that type of exercise, suggest another or an alternative (like the dragon flag if you dont have a furniture that support your body weigth :)).
    2-Let’s say 19h00 -5gmt (canada-eastern U.S. time zone)
3-I think the name is pretty good.

    Questions:
    1. Best time to exercise Abs: before or after regular workout? Frequency? Duration? Rest period (hours) between exercises?

    2. If you already do Pilates, etc., how to incorporate your workouts? How to mix cardio with your Ab exercises?

    3. Any Abs exercises that can be done while you are NOT exercising on a mat (e.g. watching TV/Computer, walking, standing, etc.)?

    4. Exercises to strengthen lower back (so you can do Ab exercises effectively).

Webinar Timing: Evening EST/PST. If possible, repeat at another time.

    Thanks!

I wanna ask that I exercise my work-out in a good, straight position. But I feel that my abbs which grow arent in a…..hmmm….i wuld say tha ideal figure!
What u wuld say abt it??

I’m pretty lean everywhere, except a small amount of fat around my abdominal area. I’m a very healthy eater, but should I be dieting too to get rid of it? Thanks x

when I start doing the abs workout intensely, i get these muscle cramps and feels like the organs from my lower abdomen are rising up and the only way i get immediate relief is by holding the air in my lungs and lying on my back for few minutes. Someone told me that this is very common and therefore one should not try intense abs workout till he has mastered himself by doing immense cardio and then take baby steps while doing abs workout. Is this true? Please include this and other dangerous effects of immensely training the abs.

    1) My question is this, I actually work out very often(cardio, weight training etc). However I just cant seems to burn off those fats around my tummy. This is the difficult I have been having for a very long time.

    2) I’m fine with anytime in the afternoon to night time.

    3) Name is nice, especially using the word sweet.

  18. Comment by Carl

    Hi Pras,

I’ve never heard of this: this is definitely not common. I’d recommend you start with easy exercises that don’t hurt. (You can get a free beginner abs program at http://www.sixpackabsexercises.com/blog/how-to-use-the-free-20-beginner-six-pack-abs-program/104/)

If it still hurt, check with your doctor or hire a certified personal trainer to design a program that fits you.

    Good luck!
